Columbia, SC (June 14, 2012) – The leading criminal justice facility services firm in the nation, CGL, has named Matthew J. Skarr as its new Director of Business Development.
Mr. Skarr, formerly of Dewberry Architects, Inc., will be responsible for domestic business development and marketing of CGL’s unique and diverse set of in-house facility services lines — including facility planning, construction program management, building maintenance and management, development, and public-private partnerships.

As a young, up and coming business development and marketing professional, Skarr has made a name for himself in the national corrections marketplace in just three short years. Before joining CGL, Skarr served as the National Director of Business Development and Marketing of Justice Architecture at Dewberry Architects, Inc.
Mr. Skarr has a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from the University of Iowa. He currently resides in Naperville, IL, with his fiancée and two sons, Nolan and Kaden.
